I found your little gem of a web-site while searching for obits. for Fr Christopher Bedford. He was my friend and mentor during some turbulent times at St. Matthews, Bethnal Green. I know he would have loved your beautiful church and I am sure that you, like me, felt privileged to know him.

I don't know why I did not visit the Church's website before. It is fantastic! Loved reading the comments on the guest book and everything else. I am bilingual but already sent you my translation. Please keep up the good work and God Bless.
Response:
The translations should be on the website soon, I hope. In the meantime, thank you for your commendation, and maybe you could spread the word about the website! :)

I enjoy you website - I attend Mass most Sundays at Our Lady's - My partner attends St. Nicholas in Saltean (CofE) Looking at their website Fr.George has a Podcast of his weekly Sermon which I download and listen to during the week - any possibility of the same at Our Lady's
Response:
Thank you for your suggestion. Recording the weekly sermon as a Podcast is not possible just at the moment, but is certainly something we will look to do in the future.

Thank you for this website. I don't always make it to mass, will try harder this year, but always read the newsletter here. Thank you for helping me to keep in touch with my church.
Response:
Thank you for your comment - I am glad that we are able to reach those who are unable to make it to mass. Hope to see you in Church some time this year!

Many congratulations on a superb web-site. Greetings to all our old friend from us both.Your Parish is very dear in our memories from 1991 to 2002.I wonder if the modifications I made to the confessional and repositary,(at Father Pat's request) are still the same? Love to all,Helen and Rodney Taylor.

It brought back many memories looking at the pictures of the old hall and church. I used to serve mass with my brother many years ago( I'm 49 now) We all lived in peacehaven until late 60's when we moved to Hampshire where my parents still live. I served for Father Ambrose (who did my first holy communion)Also served for Father Turner who used to take the alter boys on an annual trip to Brighton. I remember seeing Waterloo in the cinema followed by fish and chips..Happy days
There used to a sign at the front of the church( mass times etc) which my dad built.
Seeing your site has brought many happy memories
Response:
Thank you for your lovely comment and for sharing your memories. Hope you are able to visit again one day.

An excellent website. I particularly like reading the newsletter on the Internet a few days before it comes out at mass on the weekend. I look forward to seeing how the website will continue to develop. Well done.
Response:
Thank you for your comment. We always try to get the Newsletter on the website a few days before the weekend for people to read.
